A great way to spend my birthday

Another great playdate w/ Jenn, Blane, Ashlee, Reece & Lucas! With the lovely Texas heat (100+ degrees) we're staying indoors. These little guys are so mobile Ashlee came up with a FAB idea to take them to this indoor play area. I admit - I was overwhelmed when I first got there... there were approx 14 million toddlers running around while the new mommies (a lot of them preggers) chit-chatting while their kiddo's wore themselves out. It turns out it was so much fun to watch them crawl (Reece WALK) all over these obstacles. Everything (including the floor) was a soft squishy foam... so awesome for the unbalanced babies. :) I can't believe how well Reece is walking and Blane is so mobile - he is crawling all over the place! Lucas has really picked up his crawling speed and pulls up on everything - he loves to explore EVERYTHING! We all worked up an appetite and went to California Pizza Kitchen. When we walked in w/ all 3 three strollers and babies and were about to be seated - a lady looked at us and saw we were about to be seated next to her & asked to be moved. HA! We went and saw Ash's new house - so awesome. I now want to move! :) After that Ashlee and I went to Pottery Barn Kids & Pottery Barn. We got the BEST DEAL IN THE WORLD!!! We got: 12 cups, 12 plates, LARGE platter, medium platter, 6 glass plates, 12 really cool drinking straws (re-usable)... all for ... (drum role) less than $50! What a great deal! Hannah's home!!!

Well, thank goodness Hannah's back from camp! I missed her so much! She had the best experience though. It was so much better for her "emotionally" this year... Last year she just had wayyyy too much going on. She made several new friends and even saw a friend from our soccer team - completely unexpected! A VERY pleasant surprise to Miss Allie! :) She was awarded the most "bold and enthusiastic" award from her counselor... both titles fit her well. I think she is glad to be home - She pretty much laid around Monday - didn't do much of anything, but today she's back to her old active self again. :) WELCOME HOME MY SWEET GIRL!

Lucas loves to walk (run) his lion all over the house! Sooooo we decided to go ahead and video him tonight. He's not quite walking on his own yet. Although, he stood for awhile (like 2 seconds) by himself today and was really proud of himself. We also captured on film him playing with his rings. He's been stacking for awhile now... He loves doing it!

Hannah is continuing to get in trouble for growing up and Lucas is beginning to get in trouble too! :(

Summer Camp

Well, it's that time of year again. We took Hannah to Pine Cove summer camp yesterday. Last year, she had a rough time with it. I think she had way too much going on personally, so it was pretty hard on her. This year - it's a new camp and she is going with a friend... and they are cabin mates! :) yay! We've heard countless good things about Pine Cove and are so excited to hear all of her amazing stories! Thank you so much family for taking time out of your busy lives to write her a note for her care package. It will mean so much to her everyday she is there! I miss her already!
