Spring is here!!!!!!!!!!!!

The weather is DFW right now is perfect! We've been outside playing for 3 days now! Today we went to the Dallas Aboretum to see all of the beautiful tulips! We met our buddies Jackson and Sara out there for a picnic, photo op, and some football! :) Here are few pics from this morning:

Spring Break Vacation!!!

We took our family vacation a little early this year. Matt was blessed to find a job REAL quickly, but won't start work until the 22nd. It was a perfect time to "play" on Hannah's spring break. We loaded up the car... and headed west to San Diego to go and visit Joanne and Lauren. We drove all night and all day the next day - 25 HOURS! Whew - it was a WHIPPIN'! I don't think that I will ever do that again! We got to spend 5 wonderful days there. Joanne was the best tour guide! We did so much! On the way back home - we decided to take another route and go north to the Grand Canyon. It added 2 hours to the trip, but WAY worth it. I took about 700 pictures total, and it was REALLY hard deciding which ones to put on here... enjoy!

Hotel Del - Coronado.... beach!

This beach was just about walking distance from Joanne's house. The Hotel Del is a famous landmark for Coronado. The beach had tons of people there! We built sandcastles and went exploring in all the huge rocks! Hannah was on a mission to find so cool sea creatures!

Pointe Loma TIDE POOLS!

This might have been my favorite thing! We headed over to Pointe Loma when it was low tide to check out the tide pools. We found TONS of sea creatures... snails, sand dollars, hermit crabs, sea cucumbers... it was WAY cool! The water was FREEEEZING! It was so beautiful! I could do this once a month!
