FIELD DAY

Hannah's field day last week was a lot of fun. These are such wonderful memories for her - She only has "one field day left". Next year she will be in 5th grade and then it's no more fun stuff :(. I remember LOVING field day as a kid. We also did a "balloon day" where we tied our name and school onto a string (attached to a balloon) and the whole school went outside w/ their balloons and released them at the same time. It was so pretty to look up at the sky to see all the different colored "bubbles" (that's what it looked like). Wherever the balloon landed whoever found it was supposed to call the school and give the name of that student. The balloon that got the farthest away got a prize - I never won. Unfortunately, that can't happen anymore - tooooo dangerous :(... whew -times have changed.
