1st of several Christmas parties to attend

Last night we went to Matt's company party. It was a lot of fun. I love white elephant exchanges! Matt's co-workers impressed me beyond belief. Truly, they were some amazing people. I am very happy he works for such a great company. I sat w/ his boss for a little while and he went on about how much he likes Matt and what a great guy I have! I KNOW! He is my rock and so very wonderful. I love my babe!
As we were leaving last night... they started playing some Snoop, so I had to dance a little bit ;) - hopefully he will still have a job :) :) :) - ha!

Happy Birthday America!!!

We had the an amazing 2 days worth of 4th of July celebrations! We always go to Kaboom Town in Addison on July 3rd. It's a big carnival w/ some of the best fireworks in the country! Actually, it is rated in the top 10 to see in the nation! ;) Kris & Co graced us with their presence too! Hannah and Cutter get along very well - which falls in to mine & Kris' plans for them to marry. ;)

On the 4th our parents & Gigi came over to cook out. The Brendel's gave us a beautiful crystal vase (with chocolates - yum) as a gift for our 3rd wedding anniversay coming up next week. Grandma "Gigi" gave us a weather radio!!! YAY! Thank you so much!

Memorial Day

Tim & Kerry hosted yet again another fabulous cook out. It was kind of warm outside, but it wasn't bad in the shade. Plus - Kerry & Tim's backyard is so pretty it was worth the heat! Of course everyone played washers (A Brendel tradition). Poor Scout had to dress up for the occasion (thanks Kristin :) ). Kerry made sangria - it was such a pretty drink ... tons of colorful fruit (including the Star of David pineapple - ha). Lucas made a new friend - Charlotte. They are about 6 weeks apart and Lucas was trying to teach her how to crawl (he's now a pro!). He's also never caught without his tongue sticking out of his mouth - not sure exactly why, but it does??? Hannah was out of town w/ her dad, but she came back exhausted and sunburned :)... she had a great time, but we sure missed her!
