Today, we all went down to Fair Park to the SPCA Strut Your Mutt. This is our 2ND annual time and love this new tradition! The dogs were amazing! There were HUGE dogs and teeny tiny dogs. I think the thing that I like about it the most is - the energy... everyone that is there is so friendly. The only "bad" part is the lovely poo aroma ;)...

We were also very excited to see Lisa and D! This was D's first time meeting Lucas "McCain" (as he calls him).

This little lab kept turning her head... she was TOO cute!

OK - Here is the largest dog there. He is a Newfoundland weighing in at a whopping 145lbs (the owner there in purple maybe weighing 110lbs!). Apparently, this dog didn't like another lab and charged after it DRAGGING the owner on her stomach across the grass. He jumped on top of the lab pinning him down (as the lab was CRYING)! Finally, the lab owners managed to lift the lab and take him away! POOR LAB DOG (we are partial to our sweet labs!). Both dogs (and owners) seemed to be OK afterwards? Obviously, this picture was taken WAY before that happened (or MY DAUGHTER wouldn't be by it!)

Well, that's NOT the case at all! We were so excited to spend the weekend with our amazing family! We are so blessed to have them in our lives and love spending every moment we can with them!
Aunt Janie drove all the way from Ohio and got to meet her "great" nephew Lucas!

We have all missed her so much and look forward to seeing her again.
The weather couldn't have been better - we spent Saturday and Sunday outside 95% of the time! Lucas would not have it any other way! I love to watch Hannah & Matt carve pumpkins every year - Matt gets so intense and usually chooses the hardest sketch to carve... :)
