A blessed life.....: We're baaaacccckkkkkk!!!!!!

OK - I have to apologize to everyone for being gone for so long! The weather is beautiful and we're outside playing and I'm so exhausted at the end of the day to blog. We've actually been up to so much! Matt started his new job and loves it! He's 1/2 the distance too, so that makes everyone happy! I've been busy with the kids, sewing and church. I can't express how much I love my Monday night fellowship with some of the most amazing women means to me! I actually look FORWARD to Monday's! ha! I've grown so close to Jesus since my retreat - words can't express it. I am overall so happy! I have looked at my life lately and realized how special and beautiful it is. I have full appreciation of what I have. At Hannah's last soccer practice all the girls took off to another field where the sprinklers were on - all you could see were the girls jumping laughing in their silhouettes (b/c the sun was setting). I STARTED CRYING! It was so perfect. These sweet little 11/12 yrs olds, still young and pure and naive. I was so moved watching it. It's kind of funny - something so simple, huh? :)
Hannah - loves middle school! Her grades have never been better and she's in several AP classes on top of that! I'm FULL of pride with her! She has recently earned 'first chair' in band. It's a BIG deal! She is a FAB clarinet player! They recently had a band contest and scored all 1's and got the big trophy - they are REALLLY good for beginner band! I'm really ready for a fun filled summer with her! She is continuing to excell in soccer and gymnastics. This soccer season she was a rockstar! She received standing ovations on several games! Even other coaches came up to her coach to give her "atta girl"! She's the best goalie ever! :)
Lucas - he is my sunshine! He is still the sweetest soul on earth. He loves everything! He doesn't have a mean bone in that sweet little body. His love for sports is insane! He loves them all! Baseball is still his #1 favorite! He watches it on tv and swings the bat - throws it - and runs 'bases' in the living room... so cute! He knows about 95% of the alphabet - the LMNOP sounds like "ellin nino mee" - ha!
He knows which hand is right and which is left.
He LOVES going to font at church and "cwoss his heart". I love it! He loves to kneel and pray during church and doesn't even open his eyes.
He is my cuddle bug still! He will randomly walk up and say "mommy, hung louie" aka he wants me to hold him.
Every night he will say "mommy, please lay down with me!" How can you not??? :)

I am blessed beyond belief with these 2 wonderful gifts from God.
